Whole foods had a super 1 day sale of cherries for $1.99 a pound one friday night, and so we (and everyone else in Park Slope) bought a big bag! I thought the girls would enjoy some of these as well, so I whipped up a batch of baby food using some bananas and blueberries we had as well in my NUK Cook-n-blend.  This was a huge favorite, although very, very messy. This is definitely a naked eating food!

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 banana (frozen or fresh), chopped into approx 2″ pieces

1/2 cup blueberries (approx 1 handful)

1/2 cup cherries, halved and pits removed (approx 1 handful)

Steps

Add 2/3 cups water (water setting 2)

Steam

Dump into basket and blend.  I’d remove 1/2 the steaming liquid if doing again.
